First, let me explain a few basics in response to a question on the blog.
In the community section (http://www.moreoflife.com/community) of this site, you’ll find a blog (http://www.moreoflife.com/blog) and the Banded Together Forum (http://www.moreoflife.com/forum).
THE BLOG is sort of like a Weight Loss Surgical Center newspaper. Only people with blogger permissions can post there. Currently, only a few people can do that while the bugs are getting worked out, but we’ll add more bloggers soon. These will primarily be WLSC staff, but we might look into how we can add patient bloggers at some point in the future.
Anyone who is logged in can comment on articles at the end of blogs. They just can’t create new posts.
THE FORUM is the place that anyone with a username can interact. As you can see we have a handful of people actively posting replies and creating new threads. And we have a LOT more people just watching. That’s okay and is normal for an online community when it starts out.
Feel free to post improvement ideas for the developers to consider as we grow. I’ve already passed along the daily email digest idea and I’ll let you know if the developers think we can make it happen. I’ll let you know if I have news on any of your ideas.
