My birthday rolls around at the end of this month and my driver’s license will expire that day.  I am going to tell the truth about my weight this time (makes me want to lose another 5 just because I know I can) and I can’t wait for them to take my new picture.  Never in my life would I have thought I would have made these two statements.

Well, I just got my birthstone ring back on Saturday.  It is now a size 6.25.  My finger measured at a 6, but I wanted a little wiggle room.  When my parents bought this ring for me about 17 years ago it was a size 9.  Five years ago I had it taken down to a size 7, and now it is at a 6.25.

I don’t expect to get down to the size 5.5 that my mother is, but I am elated with the 6.25 and the person at the jewelry store was shocked when I said that it used to be a size 9.

Your success isn’t just about the number on a scale. Sometimes you can measure it in comments from friends or family, accomplishing new activities or wearing something you never thought you could.

What are your recent Non-Scale Victories?

Reduction in total cholesterol by 100 points, triglycerides by 90 points and blood sugar by 25 points—all now well within normal limits!!!!!!
