Springfield Clothes Closet

Joe says that our Springfield clinic now has a clothes closet up and running. This has been a great resource in our Wichita clinic, and hopefully our Springfield patients can get a lot out of it, too.

It’s a pretty simple clothing exchange. If you’ve had your band for awhile and have shrunk out of your old clothes (or even some of your new clothes!), just drop them off at your next appointment.

As you progress through your LAP-BAND journey, you may find you need to make several stops at the clothes closet until you’re ready to buy a permanent new (and skinny!) wardrobe.

August Support Group Meeting

I talked with Joe in Springfield today, and he gave me some details about the next support group meeting. The Springfield support group is taking advantage of the nice weather and having this month’s meeting in a local park on August 22. They’re meeting with a local rancher who will bring samples of a protein source growing in popularity: bison.

Unfortunately, they need a good head count for the rancher to know how much to bring, but you might call Joe or Joann at the office to see if they can squeeze you in or if they have an opening become available.
