Weight Loss Surgical Center Sponsors Des Moines Heart Walk

A local Weight Loss Surgical Center gastric band nurse practitioner and a representative from the surgery center will be at Des Moines' Start! Heart Walk on Saturday, June 6, to take walking pledges and to answer questions about Weight Loss Surgical Center and its adjustable gastric band procedures.
The Heart Walk is this Saturday, June 6th, from 8-11 a.m., on the west terrace of the Iowa state capitol.
Weight Loss Surgical Center staff will be in the Take The Pledge area to sign walkers up for the “pledge”. The ultimate goal with taking the pledge is to get people to commit to walking regularly. In an effort to help walkers “stick with it”, they will be invited to join My Start Online via e-mail.
In addition to the pledge, Weight Loss Surgical Center will have do a giveaway drawing for inital consultations for people who meet basic body mass index qualifications for a LAP-BAND® or REALIZE™ Band surgery.
