New Success Story: Kay

We've added Kay's LAP-BAND story to the featured success stories on the website. Kay is a Springfield, Missouri, clinic patient who has lost almost 200 lbs 2.5 years after her LAP-BAND surgery with Weight Loss Surgical Center.
Kay realized she needed to do something about her weight when she fell down and had a difficult time standing back up. She realized that if she carried any more weight, she might not be able to stand up on her own. Now she's lost more than 190 lbs, and is considering nursing school and a cruise vacation.

Kay, I am very proud of you! I know it takes time and patience to get where we want to be, and I am trying to do the same. You inspire me so much. I was banded March 3, 2009,and after reading your short story, I know I can do it,too! I also knew I had to do something about my weight, my knees and ankles hurt all the time! And all the little personal stuff that came up, it was so frustrating! After just losing 47 pounds, I am feeling so much better, and can’t wait until I hit my goal weight,too!
