I’ve lost 100 lbs. What should I do with all my old clothes?

After someone looses 50 or 100 pounds with LAP-BAND adjustable gastric band, they’ll definitely be in some new clothes, but their closet is full of a lot of old items. Here are a few ideas on what to do with the clothes that fit the old you better than the new you:
• Give them to a clothing exchange. Some of our clinics have bureaus with gently used clothing left behind during other people’s LAP-BAND journeys.
• Donate them to a charity store.
• Make a few bucks with a garage sale.
• Celebrate the old you by making a quilt from your favorite old pieces.
• Have nicer pieces like suits or dresses re-cut. The tailor may be expensive, but it might be cheaper than buying something new.
